Maxzina’s Center Console Switch Cover

I’m appreciative when I observe a seller responding to their customer’s needs. That is the case of Maxzina and one of their latest products. Maxzina took note of a number of Maverick owners expressing an interest in the commercial availability of a cover intended to protect the switches on the center console from being inadvertently activated or changed. The guilty party being pets or curious children.

My two 50 lb. pups are equally guilty. They believe their place is in the front passenger section along with my wife and me. They are less that careful where they place their four feet in their exuberance to get up front. More than once, they have stepped on the switches and changed settings. Maxzina’s recently released enter console button cover prevents reoccurrences. Installing the cover is as simple as peeling off the backing from the cover’s double-sided tape. I’m not sure my dogs care, but Maxzina has my thanks.

Looks to me to be hinged on the wrong side for someone like myself who has to access the upper buttons on every start. I don't really want to have to open it all the way every time. Should have option for which side is hinged for user's preference. My current make shift is more functional although, not as stylish.

That's a nice product but where are the pictures of your pups @AbnRgr ?

What I'd like to see instead is a kit to move the buttons to the blank space just forward of the shifter hockey puck. That's a much more sensible location.
I don't like the cover because I actually use the buttons. I go to Wco every time I drive, and my wife dislikes the brake hold feature.

This is Ranger and Cadet. both were rescues as puppies. The shelter was uncertain as to their breeds, but thought Ranger could be a beagle and Cadet a small breed, possibly a chIhuahua. Guess they were wrong!
