Under Seat Vent Extenders

Seems there has been enough interest on the forum on how to get more air (warm or cold) into the rear compartment to warrant my post. There are vents under the front seats, but one has to wonder how well they work since they are located deep under the seat. I've seen other extenders that stick too far into the foot well where they would be prone to damage or tripping back seat occupants. I found a vendor on eBay for vent extenders for the F-150. Free returns, so I thought I'd gamble to see if they fit the Maverick and they do. Had a little trouble squeezing them in between the vent and the surrounding carpet, but it's a solid fit. I was afraid someone would ask me to contort myself into the foot well. LOL

Slide one of the seats forward. It gives you plenty of room.
Here's a picture I just took of passenger side with my size 14 I can boots in there and you can see the vent.

I haven’t looked what is under the 25 seats yet, but my 22 couldn’t get any air to the back seat with the messed up vents under the seat. The all weather mats blocked the air so I did a goofy mod, but it worked. Son and DIL have the 22 now and they love the mod for their dog. I’ve thought about the vent extensions for the 25. Also partially blocking off the front floor vents helps a lot with getting more air to the back seats.

Hello, do you notice any difference in the Air Flow to the rear passengers? I know it won't be major but a little bit would be nice. Any difference? Thanks

Don't know about anyone else but my under seat vents can hardly blow out a candle with the little amount of air being pushed out. And they only work of I have the vents set to feet. Even when I only have that one vent on, still can hardly feel the air coming out..

In the 22, I blocked off a large part of the front floor vents with fan-fold insulation and HVAC tape, it really helps push air to the rear of the truck.
