if a truck has the chrome finish 'AWD' badge, raised chrome finish letters make sense on any color maverick. it also would work particularly well with the significant chrome-ish front end treatment the '25 Lariat has.

if a truck has BAP I would definitely go with matte black letters. it won't have as much contrast against the eruption green tailgate, but I think it would look good.
Coming back to this in light of the photos we are now seeing. (Ref: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...traded-in-2024-xlt-atlas-blue-metallic.59618/ )

It appears the '25 has less chrome finish on the back. The casing around the blue oval is now black, not chrome while the word "Ford" is white, not chrome. That being the case, I'm a bit more wary about the chrome letters, even with all the chrome specks on the front grill. I'm thinking matte black, bronze, or possibly orange if I want that extra color "pop."

yes, it appears that both hybrid and awd badges are not present on the '25s delivered so far.

I'd go matte black. there's a retro-reflective matte black which is kind of neat, I considered that, but I am not sure if people behind me would think it's neat or just annoying. :ROFLMAO:

Awesome! Thanks so much for posting that photo!!!

Are those raised/puffy letters or flat ones? Metal or vinyl? Where'd you get them from? Thanks!

I was thinking about matching the cooper/orange accent color of the lariat to see how that would look against the eruption green exterior.

Anyone go with Tremor Orange on the Eruption Green? Picking up the Tremor tomorrow was going to go with black but now thinking orange to match but then one of my friends said too much orange on the green - would not subtle enough - so now I'm confused as well....

Blue, Purple, and Gold would be triadic colors to green. Black and white usually work with most colors they can offer a contrast against (i.e. white and light gray not great, but white and dark gray good).

IMO The purple looked surprisingly good, but I was surprised how weak the lighter gold was, both probably because there is a lot of yellow in EG already. The bronze gold looked good though and you could get bronze wheels to match it. The white was also only ok; I liked the matte black better, probably because of the black casing around the Ford logo and again, I think the yellow in the EG makes black contrast better. Very meh on the blue.

Thanks for all the mock-ups though. It helps to actually see the colors in action.

I've seen bronze wheels on eruption green broncos and it's really great. 🤘

I went with black lettering on my Ranger and it wasn't all that impressive, IMHO. This time I'm going with this decal on my Maverick, if it ever arrives.

Black looks good on just about any color, although less visible on a back vehicle. Personally, the 3D raised letters are my pick on just about any of them, and they just seem to standout better.

My 2nd pick is the patriotic red, white, and blue, but I don't think they'd look good on a green vehicle.

I like the effect, but I wonder if it would be harder to place that decal precisely. I've also been looking at the "reflective black" vinyl material. That would reflect white at night under headlights, but look black during the day. Or bonze... I do like the bronze-on-green examples here.

I had contemplated trying to do something custom that looked like the inside of the vehicle was made of glowing lava (a play on eruption green), but that seems like it would be a lot of work for something that is super simple.
