Yes, it was low which is of course the point. The numbers I've shown in spreadsheet were taken directly from Ford's configurator in 2022, but for corroboration I'm linking megadealer Bill Brown Ford's order page that is still active from 2022 showing 25,490 was the Lariat price at that time. You can also check third party sites Motor Trend, Cars.com, etc., many of whom maintain a 2022 model page for the Maverick. So I'm still wondering what apples-to-apples configuration that @Packer Bill is talking about that is only 9% over 2022?

This still doesn’t make sense to me. I had a 22 EB AWD Lariat w/sunroof, Copilot 360, tonneau cover, upgraded wheels, sliding rear window that stickered at 37k. My 25 has all the same options, only change was the hard tonneau instead of soft, and it stickered at 40,700 (a 10% increase).

@SM2535 As I've been saying, I would love to see such an apples-to-apples comparison. Please redact your VIN and upload your 2022 Monroney - that would probably be clarifying. Thank you.

Here's my MY22 Sticker, base price is more than you quoted.

The quote was not mine, it is Ford's and many dealers still have active pages showing the 25,490 number. However, I noticed the 26,860 number you have on Motor Trend's 2022 page. Since your signature indicates you ordered in 2021 and received delivery in 2022, do you recall receiving a 1,370 increase? I did not order at that time, and I have been recording the numbers given by Ford's configurator. Thank you.

I think the broader point still stands, that even if no 2022 Maverick Lariats ever shipped with the 25,490 number and therefore didn't exist, and all were shipped 1,370 higher at 26,860, the price difference 2022 vs. 2025 remains more like 18.5% and not 9-10%.

That was the original price quoted when I ordered it Oct. 25, 2021. I think there was a price increase in Dec. 2021 if my memory serves me right?

OK, yeah, I'm having a quasi-recollection of that - there was a price change that occurred in the middle of the 2022 ordering season. The result was as discussed above. If you had the initial Lariat price, then today's 2025 model is about 23% higher than that. If you had the latter 2022 price, then today's 2025 model is about 19% higher. Makes sense.

A 2022 AWD lariat maybe closer to 28-29k ? Maybe 30 ?
Did your sticker include a markup ?

Find it hard to believe it was 37k without some markup.

Also wasn't the base Lariat missing many of the standard features now? My buddy has a Lariat that came without heated seats, stock stereo and minus a few other things.

No markup. Maybe a lot of the features I opted for back then are standard now? I dunno.

This is exactly correct!! This is what I have saying in various threads for over 2 weeks now. I will try to find my DORAs to show this.

I think that’s it. The other person who is talking about the 2022 base price, it dawned on me that they didn’t factor in Copilot 360 or the Lux package in their pricing. I think(?) both of those are standard now on Lariat. I don’t remember.

All I know is that what I paid for this new truck is 10% more than what I paid for my old truck, and it’s specced out almost identically. Given the price increase on everything in the last 3 years, I don’t think 10% is unreasonable.

The Lux Pkg and CoPilot 360 were options in MY22

This should help. Anyways what's done is done. I come up with 33.5k not counting some upgrades wheels or tonneau covers.. those are more of accessories not packages.
