Headlights next? lolWell, go to your local Home Depot or Lowe's and get 1 gallon of Zep Industrial Degreaser. Remove the taillights from the truck and take off the wiring harness and bulbs. Pour the Degreaser into one of the 3 sockets and fill it about half way. Let it sit up and down like that for about 30-45 min's then rotate the lens so the fluid inside goes to the other half of the lens and repeat about 30-45 min's. Pour out as much of the Degreaser as you can and rinse VERY WELL, SLOUCH THE WATER ALL OVER and pour it out and repeat until all the foam is out( I USED MY GARDEN HOSE AND FLUSHED IT UNTIL I GOT IT ALL. You need to get the inside very dry so sit in sun or use a hairdryer ( I USED HAIRDRYER) When it's completely dry to your liking just reinstall the wiring harness and put the bulbs into the sockets and install it back onto truck. It really is very easy just have to give it time and be patient and let it dry out. It cost me $12 and I really like it ( NO FILM TO COME OVER THE OUTSIDE) If your confused go to YouTube and look up Maverick Hunter, he has a video. Good Luck with it sir
I am wondering if I could use a bottle with a flexable tip the size of a straw. I would like to only dechrome the sides not the chrome from the back up lights. Thinking it may work. I will tilt it to the outer side and fill it till the zep reaches the top edge of the side of the light. I just think the chrome on the sides stands out to much.I just Dechromed my Taillights now they look Tinted. Was so easy just takes a little time and patience. Not the best picture but it removes all the chrome from inside the taillight. I really like the look
