Need sound clip with stock exhaust and one with Thermal R&D 3" catback or my wallet stays closed.

If you find any aftermarket catted downpipe sound clip, it will be the same for ALL catted downpipes, as the different cats aren't going to change the not of the exhaust much. That will come from the catback depending on resonators/mufflers, and exhaust size.

Thanks for that. Somehow I thought a freer flowing downpipe would make the exhaust note throatier. I have a Thermal R&D catback and it doesn't sound awful. Only moderate fart can vibes lol

Lol, well it will change the sound from a factory downpipe, as the diameter goes from 2.25ID to 3"ID, and the cat should be less restrictive, although the factory one isn't that bad, it's just the necked down piping size that hurts power once you start the modding process....

All that to say, if you find a clip of an aftermarket DP with the thermal exhaust, yours will sound exactly like that, haha.

besides the sound, what really counts is the dyno runs compared to stock. For 90% of us who can only get 91 octane…show us the baseline stock runs on 91 compared directly to the installed pipe on 91. All done adjusted for altitude, humidity, etc. or like the previous posters says: wallet stays closed.

I'm not sure how you get 90% can only get 91 octane. I have never seen 91 octane east of Texas which would be significant less than 90% of everyone on this forum or in the U.S.

Id like to see the dyno runs on 87. With gas and food where they are premium is at a....well premium.
