Ordered December 29th and arrived today in Western Canada. Pretty good turnaround!

The installer thinks it's going to look terrible (my truck is white). I am excited. More pics later today...

The color and texture at first glance look close to the plastic on the bed rails if it is a close match I think it will look good! excited to see the end product. I'm leaning towards buying one of these caps also.

Yep, this was my thought process. I feel like on the lighter paint colors, the plastic cladding around the bed and back of the cab makes paint-matched caps look bad. I noticed that I liked the caps way better on darker trucks and I think this is why.

So, I decided to roll the dice on my cap in the hopes that it will look good. Also might be a little easier to re-sell in the future (although resale on caps is terrible in general).

I know your in Canada but wondering the price ? I just don't get why Maverick caps are so much higher than larger ford F-150 caps. Hoping they come down in price to reasonable some day,.

Well, it doesn't look terrible actually at all...can't wait for more pics to give my final opinion, but I think it will look good and stealthy

To me a body color cap can look nice but it also kinda looks like the truck is masquerading as an SUV. I like how the contrasting color showcases the fact that you're driving a truck. Looks good!

It looks like there are some kind of rails on the top of it? Are those for attaching roof cross bars?

You actually put steelies ON a Maverick? Are they snow tires or do you actually prefer them to the FX4 wheels? I think the FX4 wheels are the best looking out of all thr sets.

Yep, rails for crossbars and stuff. I think I may make a ladder rack that goes across the whole roof.

what's it look like inside the cap? any windows open? access to the cab?

I think it looks great. My maverick is carbonized gray and I've been thinking lots about cap color, since the bed rails are still a slightly different color to the paint, ive been trying to decide on matching the bedrails like you did, or match paint then see if I can get the bed rails painted to match.... But even just matching the bed rails like you did might be easiest and still looks great in my opinion
