Did you lift it at all? Any modifications to prevent rubbing?

I'm considering 245/60 R18... but not anything that aggressive as I stay on pavement and never see mud/snow.

Nope no lift. Drove it from the dealer to the tire shop.

Did the new tires dent the mpg?
With making the change immediately I doubt he has a delta on mpg to be able to tell. All he'd be able to work with is the EPA estimated mpg. I know mine has always been about 1-2 mpg higher than EPA estimated on factory installed Michelins.

@Snox801 Can you confirm there is no rubbing at the full steering locked in either direction? With no modifications? My 2023 EB AWD is scheduled to have the Rough Country 2-inch lift strut kit installed on MAR-15. I have the Black Appearance Package with 18-inch wheels and am debating if I should put tires on those or switch to 17-inch wheels since there are more on-road all-season tire choices.

Did the new tires dent the mpg?
Yes so on the flat stretch of highway on my way home for about 6 miles I got 40.2mpg avg at 60mph zero wind
Now same stretch some wind in my direction same speed 30mpg. So yes I lost a decent amount.

So yes at full lock I get no rubbing. Now after a car wash I thought I heard some rubbing almost to full lock then nothing at full lock.

I will be investigating this more this weekend. It may have been some dirt snow mix or the water cause enough weight or movement that it now runs slightly.
I will keep you informed.

Hey there Prsncat, if you don't mind telling us what is the 2" RC strut lift kit costing you with the installation? I'm contemplating this lift myself for my FX4 AWD. If your in SoCal can you who the installation will be done by. I'm looking for a good installer down in the SoCal area.

Thanks

I will be using Rebel Offroad in Lake Forest. I have no prior direct experience with them. They were recommended to me by the owner of a couple of Jeeps.

LIFT KIT: ROUGH COUNTRY FORD MAVERICK AWD 2022-2024 2" LIFT STRUT KIT SKU# 51364
$599.95+$22.00 Shipping
LABOR: ML MECHANIC LABOR-INSTALL ROUGH COUNTRY 2" STRUT LIFT
5 Hours * $150.00/Hour = $750.00
ALIGNMENT: WITH NON-ADJUSTABLE ARMS $120.00

Sales Tax = $46.50
Total OTD = $1,538.45

I paid $668.45 upfront to order the kit with taxes, shipping, and parts costs. The balance of $870 is due upon delivery.

that's a pretty tall tire for no lift, 30.5". I am surprised they don't rub at full lock or when the truck hauling / towing a heavy load. many people do run that size and taller with a lift.
