This might be the first "hand-on" walk around of hybrid that I've seen.

People who review new cars and trucks should be smart enough to tell us how tall they are. The Maverick, as we all know, is 68" tall. I'm 70" tall. The guy doing the video must 76" - 78' tall. When the majority of us haven't yet been able to stand next to a Maverick, why can't these people just say how tall they are.

People who review new cars and trucks should be smart enough to tell us how tall they are. The Maverick, as we all know, is 68" tall. I'm 70" tall. The guy doing the video must 76" - 78' tall. When the majority of us haven't yet been able to stand next to a Maverick, why can't these people just say how tall they are.
I think roof height is actually going to be closer to 65-66ā€ as that 68.7ā€ weā€™ve all read appears to include the base (or shark fin) portion of the antenna.

You mean you haven't watched Doug Demuro's video about a thousand times already? :D Most of the first week reviews of the Maverick were on a similar Hybrid XLT in Area 51.

Was that an XLT with a LUX package ... but no Ford 360? I couldnā€™t see the ā€œradarā€ square on the grill...

Without the LUX package, but doing the individual inverter option, you would simply have the outlet and no USB ports...correct?

Also....good view of the rear window. Makes me want to save the cash on that....I could always run an extension cord through the passenger window (unless I got a bed cap)

I could be wrong but I believe that the inverter option without the lux package gives you an outlet inside the cab but not in the truck bed. It's funny how the window looks to be so much larger from the inside looking out, then the outside looking at the back window of the cab.

Only the Lariat has the radar in the front. It's for the Adaptive Cruise Control, not CoPilot 360. That truck doesn't have blindspot mirrors so it likely has Copilot.

I also noticed that this Canadian Maverick appears to have a block heater plug at the top passenger side radiator.

You are probably right, and I am experiencing recent bias. It seems like most of the videos I've seen lately involved "hands on experiences" with the turbo models.

He showed that the bright orange center console pieces pull right out. They look like they are soft silicone so that what you place in the area doesnā€™t rattle. I am going to buy the two for an XL to replace mine. A great look at the truck and I really like the wheels.

My uncle had a F-100 on his farm and let me drive it around when I was 13. It was great! It would have been pretty cool if Ford had done that but I am good with the name of Maverick too!
