Hey Everyone,

I want to introduce to y'all our newest Maverick part, the Steeda Maverick AWD Adjustable Competition Rear Sway Bar!

We built this bar specifically for the 2022-2026 Maverick AWD (XL, XLT, Lariat, and Lobo) and to deliver the highest spring rates of any bolt-on rear bar available for this platform. The factory rear bar is rated at 270 lb/in. That's fine for a grocery run or general use, but if you push your truck through on-ramps, autocross courses, or back roads, there's real cornering performance left untapped. This bar was developed and validated in actual autocross competition before it ever shipped, so the settings the bar has are track-tested to ensure you receive the best possible performance.

Product Benefits
  • Three tunable positions: 430 lb/in (soft), 510 lb/in (middle), 680 lb/in (full stiff)
  • 1" solid Chromoly steel construction
  • CNC-machined billet steel ends
  • Reduced body roll, sharper turn-in, more neutral handling, less understeer at the limit
  • Powder-coated in Steeda blue
  • Direct bolt-on, no modifications required
  • Designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA
Get yours today at Steeda 555-1039 Maverick AWD Competition Rear Sway Bar (22-26)

Check it out on YouTube

We put the bar to the test on our in-house R&D Maverick, full review here:

And if you're wondering how involved the install is, here's the step-by-step:

It would be nice if video would show the actual view from outside the car instead of inside going thru the course to see comparable body lean from OEM with maybe a smaller corner view window of the speedo showing same speed.

Am I misunderstanding the three mentioned tunable positions? I don't see anything in the instructions PDF on how to select between them. Do you only get that capability if you also install the Steeda end links too?
I’m GUESSING that the 3 different hole positions will give you the three different rates.

Yup in lbs of force. With the inside whole being the strongest 500+.

And yah.... the mention of keeping the swaybar level with using their adjustable end links - which maybe should be included and price adjusted?

Yes and no. It depends if you have lowered your Mav.
If your still at stock ride height, then the factory end links are fine since the geometry of the rear suspension (swaybar) is unchanged.

If you've lowered, then yes, our Steeda 555-1097 Explorer/Maverick AWD Adjustable Rear Sway Bar End Links (20-26) are the right component for you.

Granted, having competition in the name would lead you to believe only lowered vehicle would be making the purchase, but since this bar is even stiffer than the Steeda 555-1031 Bronco Sport/Escape/Maverick AWD Rear Sway Bar (20-26), it could still be used by customers that are expecting to haul even heavier loads.

I believe the original question the other user was asking was how to get the three different rates. And it sounded like he was thinking that in order to get the different rates, that one would also have to purchase the end links. I was just replying with an educated guess that the different rates can be chosen based on which hole you attach your sway bar links to.

Really bummed that I have this Goodwin bar in the garage waiting to go on and then you guys release a stiffer one. 😩 That would be my luck though!

I can’t imagine pushing my Tremor hard enough to need such a performance mod.
But I think it’s way kool .

Hopefully I can get to putting all my suspension stuff on the lobo in the next two weeks. I plan on auto crossing it some this fall. The only thing I’m worried about are the crappy factory tires. But I’m trying to hold off and wait until they wear out and just buy new wheels and tires at once.

As for parts waiting to go on:
Fortune Auto coilovers- 9k front 6k rear
Massive front and rear sway bar links
Goodwin rear sway bar
SPC rear camber arms
Massive rear toe arms

Should be pretty nimble when all said and done. Can’t wait!

I totally missed that. TY for the clarification.

If the Goodwin doesn't work out, we are here.

I’ll tell you what, I’ll send you this one and you guys can send me one of yours. You can compare the Goodwin to yours through some performance, durability, and longevity ā€œR&Dā€ testing. 🤣

That is true. I’ll have to check. However, it may be good advertising for Steeda if they had actual engineers do some side by side comparisons for all of us to see how much better yours is than the competitors. šŸ˜‰
