I stopped by the local Ford dealer to order a bed rug and hood protector and of course parked in the truck area between some of my new Maverick’s older cousins.

That is... real?
The one in the middle is meant for humans.

The real kicker for me is that the one in the middle will serve my needs. Understand that may not be the case for everyone. As a bit of a tree-hugger, I see a ton or so more resources involved in the construction of the other two and thousands of gallons of fuel more being used over the lifetime of the vehicles.

1) it’s not that small in person, it’s quite comparable to a mid size.
2) the maverick is parked further back which makes it look even smaller
So true. The Maverick is really not small at all. The real story is how huge the F350/F450 are or that I was actually able to find a couple of accessories that were available to even order!

Makes me want to put the Maverick in the bed of the F450 on the left.

That’s funny because it doesn’t feel that small. it’s actually very roomy, this pickup is extremely practical, parking, loading and unloading, MPG. I would not trade my Maverick for them beast, that and I probably could not afford to drop 70k on them mammoths. But yes it looks like a toy in that picture.

I used to see pics like this and worry until I got mine last week. Bigger than I thought and very comparable to midsized trucks

We jokingly called my brother's F150 the "The Enterprise" for the size of its footprint and the need for a captain's license to drive through a parking lot.
I find the Maverick larger than expected given I am used to driving an old Ranger. If they enclosed the bed, they would have a mini-Flex, or a Bronco Sport on steroids.

These photos always look fake, but I've seen it in person. The size difference is massive

Yup. The Maverick isn't really that much smaller than a Ranger, but looks much smaller because it's not sitting on top of a frame.
