That looks great and every time I see someone post one, I'm tempted to go this route instead of tonneau. I see there is a minor gap, is it water tight? I'm not talking driving in the rain, I'm talking about summer gulley-washer while at the store tight.

Yeah, I'd be interested in accessibilty thorugh the siding window from the cab.... well I put my dogs in the backity back on long trips and will slide the shell frong window and the truck rear slider window open so the dogs can feel a part of things...

What windows on this Leer Cap open?

It fits like a regular cap it is sealed to the bed and yes completely water tight including car wash

Looks great. I put a Leer cap on my 88 Dakota. Basically the same style frameless windows, but the cap was cab height. Had it for 10 years, no issues. Hope you have the same luck.
