I have a 23 Hybrid Xl in Carbonized grey with a black and grey interior that is cloth. I dont expect the cloth to hold up so I purchased Wet Okole seat covers for just the front. I ordered black with dark grey piping. They were pricey to the tune of about $400 due to the piping upcharge. They arrived in about 2 weeks. I installed them today with no issues other than its just a pain to get your head to be able to view under the seat to hook up all of the straps. The seat covers themselves fit very well and will offer full protection. They have the air bag slot on the sides so no issues there. They do add some additional cushioning which is welcomed. I just installed them today so I cant tell you much other than they are a quality product with a very nice fit. I prefer the look of my OEM seat cloth vs the seat covers but I think I did a pretty good job on my custom order regarding color selection. I will report back after I put some miles on them. I will include some pics for anyone interested.

I did the same back in 22. Mine came with a center console cover, maybe because i let them take pictures and measurements since they didn't have the truck in their system since they were a new model.

Couldn't be happier.

I was gonna go with Wet okoles but but they just didnt have the colors I wanted and I didnt want all black. I can attest that they are durable though, I got em in my comanche and after 5 years of extreme abuse they are just starting to wear the first layer thin where I drag my wallet chain and 300lb of ass across em 20 plus times a day.

We went with CoverKing for the color. I installed mine this morning too. I was also in the middle of building a carport for the Maverick so I took pics hastily before smoothing em out all the way.

Glad you like 'em I'm considering a pair of these, probably would do the front seats first then back, since I instantly bought a cheap $30 seat cover in the back for my dog lol

Those look good, nice job on the install!

You'd be surprised that Ford's seat fabric actually does stand the test of time fairly well (used to drive numerous Escapes, Transits, and Fusions in the company fleet), but I think these are a good looking upgrade.

Nice install. I would be interested in how they hold up long term. Thanks for posting

I bought a set of Cover King seat covers for my Jeep a few years ago. They had blue panels in the middle of the seat covers. After a couple of weeks with the top off of the Jeep, the blue panels had faded almost completely to grey. That was pretty disappointing. Ended up buying new covers from Bartact, and they haven't faded one bit over the last couple of years, and that's with the top off of the Jeep from April into November (I put a cover over the vehicle when it rains).

This may not be a big deal for a Maverick, but it might be something to consider when choosing seat covers. Bartact does not yet make them for Mavericks, unfortunately.

Thanks for all of the replies. I dont know yet but I read several reviews before making my decision. The Wet Okole seat covers are thick and seem durable to me. I will have my butt parked in them today for a couple of hours so it will be interesting to see if they provide a little more comfort with the added foam that they sew into their covers. If they had a real dark dark grey that would be a closer match to the OEM then my black and grey combo. I am a bit OCD so I am just a touch disappointed that the color doesnt flow as well as the OEM seat colors did. Heck I looked at my OEM seats and thought this will be easy....black and grey.....but my Wet Okole covers are a very rich black color vs OEM that was a muted or faded black and gray....oh well.....she is a utility truck not a Cadillac.

For those reading this, I have a question for you. My Mav will be my first new vehicle, and a replacement vehicle of my 09 Escape I bought in 2011. Of which it just had the cloth seats and I put a seat cover on them from day 1.

To my question... seeing I am getting a Lariat, how well do the "leather" seats hold up. Has anyone owned any other Ford vehicle lately with "leather" seats and do they hold up for normal usage, or should I myself be looking into seat covers as the "leather" will tear or stain or wrinkle...etc?

I am planning to keep the vehicle for as long as I can or until I get my "moneys worth" out of it, but if the "leather" seats are expected to be crappy, then Ill look at getting covers for them right away. But if people have good experiences with the "leather" then I wont worry about finding seat covers right from the start. Thanks!

I bought the Ford Cover king with FordPass points. They cover the front/ back but not the sides. Wet Okole are better quality with complete coverage. My Coverking covers are fine and serve their purpose well but will replace them with Wet Okole when they wear out

When Wet Okole was in Honolulu, I had them in my 2003 VW Cabrio convertible. They were $230 then for the FRONT and BACK, and they also did all the installation. They were a huge selling point when I had to get rid of my mid-life crisis mobile and get a truck because we were building a home. Bought a used Mazda 2300 truck which of course was just a Ranger, it was $5,000 vs the $23,000 I sold the VW for!

They look great. I’m toying with the idea but my wife likes the stock XLT interior. I like it too but I want this truck to look as new as possible for years to come. Hoping to hold onto this one for a long time..

From one OCD person to another, I’d recommend saving up and buy matching covers for the back seat… then it probably won’t bother you quite as much 😎
