Owned lots of different vehicles, grew up in GM family, this is my 3rd Ford. TBH the Ford's have been my favorite, I'm hoping the Mav continues that. (Had a 1997 Escort Wagon, 2004 F150 Heritage, and now the Maverick)

Nothing against those who have Lariat models or even a GMC Denali, but to me trucks are not luxury vehicles and therefore I was most philosophically pleased with an XL. I got the hybrid AWD and 4k tow because my 2.0T Buick that I traded in was great except for how it drank gas. AWD because here on the Colorado Plateau the snow can come out of nowhere and either be flurries or blizzard. I don't know how much I'll tow but if you offer me an option that will upgrade the greasy bits of my vehicle to make it more capable, I'm like "hell, yeah."

I was always an XLT man until I bought my first Mav. When I started looking at the 22 Mavericks I found the reverse sensing and other safety features were only offered on Lariat. Now I’m spoiled and find I just have to have the adaptive cruise control so still have to have lariat. So all 4 of my Mavericks have been lariats.

I’m a boomer and I still don’t have a clue on this ‘67’ crap! WTF does it mean?
As near as I can tell it doesn't mean anything, and you're just supposed to be baffled when the kids crack up over it.

Yeah... there is only 03 versions for the BR market.
Tremor, Black and Hybrid.
Ford has different approaches for both market, witch have very different cenerios ... one of the reasons is cultural, and the others has everything to do with the economic and political scenery.

We also have very little options on Ford accessories.
Ford offers a lot of items on US.

Although you do seem to have some options we don't, and standard features we don't on some of the trims.

...and... $380USD for a running board option??? It's kind of wild how pricing and options differ. Your purchase price for the truck is somewhat higher than ours, by the numbers from the "build it" .br Ford website, even when considering that your "base" trims contain additional stuff that we have to add as options (e.g., the hybrid "base" has AWD, sunroof, and "pro tow").

You also seem to have more color options.

...all strange... what we can get seems to be the result of the corporate marketing strategy wonks who look at what they _think_ they should offer to maximize profits. I bet that they don't actually succeed in optimizing that as well as they'd like to think they do.
