I actually rented a U-Haul Maverick once when my friend flew in for a wedding—we used it to haul decor from the storage unit to the venue. Super easy to drive and surprisingly roomy for a compact truck. We also used it to pick up folks coming in via professional airport chauffeur services since it was nearby. Didn’t even plan it that way, but it worked out perfectly.

Isn’t there some hybrid badging on Mav Hybrids?

I don't think they have hybrid markings on the 2025's. There are many things the 2022-2024's have that are no longer on the 2025's

Before I purchased my Maverick.
I rented a Maverick for 2 days from U-Haul @ $19.95 a day and $1.00 a mile.
Comfort wise, I wanted to see how it compared to my Encore. Especially, getting in and out. Renting a hybrid was not a choice. At the time U-Haul was only renting EcoBoost Maverick's.
