I'm sorry to hear that! You could try a few things to clean it up. On my 2012 focus, changing the spark plugs and O2 sensor bought me some more time. My check engine light just came on again, though. Inspection runs out in may. Hopefully I can get delivery by then.Did I make the right decision?....I have a 2004 tribute with 350,000 miles.I can't get it through emissions anymore. Dealers have 2.0 units coming in and some are at msrp go to the end of the build price website and have the software search for a unit the start calling. I found a XL at MSRP under 23K. Good luck.I'm sorry to hear that! You could try a few things to clean it up. On my 2012 focus, changing the spark plugs and O2 sensor bought me some more time. I appreciate the advice, but I'm not interested in settling.Dealers have 2.0 units coming in and some are at msrp go to the end of the build price website and have the software search for a unit the start calling. I found a XL at MSRP under 23K. Good luck.
OMG - will Lucas oil additive "FIX" timing chain? Doubtful! Only maybe if something is "sticking"? Which mav did you order? That you won't settle from?I think I got my last extension today good till Feb...... The problem is in the lower part of the engine. Timing chain, cam.It would cost me too much to fix. Which is why I need my mav.
