I don't know about that. Every vehicle I've owned has been in this price class (adjusted for inflation), the Maverick is by far the least reliable. I'm not even talking about recalls, just other stuff. Now, I do give Ford a bit of a pass, since I have a first year of production vehicle, but only slightly. None of my previous vehicles were Ford's. 😒 In addition, there are plenty of unreliable high price vehicles, from Mercedes, Porsche, and other luxury brands.

Ford also introduced a a bunch of new vehicles during 2020-2023 time period; Maverick, Bronco, Bronco Sport, which no doubt makes things look kind of bad.
