Hey all my truck is finally ready, 559 days since ordering, and even though I've been asking my salesperson to get the invoice done for the last 6 weeks ever since the build started it still isn't right. I finally got my farm bureau certificate over to them and I had already had approval for x plan pricing, but now they're saying you can't have both.

I have read on other threads where people got both and I'm trying to see what do I need to say to them to get both?

What thread says X-Plan may be combined with Farm Bureau?
Dealer told me this is not accepted by Ford. Farm Bureau plus X-Plan No in this thread

Absolutely no... It is on the Farm Bureau information page. NOT combinable with X-Plan (and other plans.)

While officially they are not applicable together & supported by Ford Corp., there's nothing to stop a dealer from simply honoring the price as if both packages were to be used, by just applying their own discount.

If you were able to pull that off on a Maverick, that's a very generous dealer.

Ford incentives are really just rebates that the dealer will typically claim from Ford on your behalf and apply it upfront to your purchase. One of the forms the dealer is supposed to have you sign indicates that this is your preferred option, vs. Ford paying the rebate to you directly.

The dealer may not get paid for the Farm Bureau incentive (rebate), as the terms explicitly state that AXZD-Plan transactions are ineligible. So even if they honor it upfront, they may end up being out the money in the end... which technically is a dealer discount that is prohibited under the AXZD-Plan program rules that could get them into trouble.
Correct. If in fact this was done somewhere, I'm imagining the dealer simply priced the truck to the customer at x-plan value, (without "officially" using x-plan..), then just applied the FB discount to that. Perhaps the poster who claims he was able to do this, will weigh in on the details. Not sure how else it could be done.

My dealer charges invoice which is lower than X plan for the Maverick. They do the Farm Bureau because it saves a little more money than X plan.

I was told one or the other by my dealer. We used the Farm Bureau, which they told me protected my price. I think it worked out well because I avoided any price increases and they honored their mistake on the initial build order of not upcharging $500 for premium color....some may not think Cyber Orange is premium, but I dig it.
