Oh fer corn's sake. That's a lot of assumin'.
No dealership worth its salt is gonna hand out the keys to a new customer reserved vehicle willy-nilly without obtaining the permission of the putative or actual owner. For all we know, this particular one was ordered by a salesperson, manager or other employee with whom the guy driving made an arrangement.
Yeah, or a used hypodermic needle. Or a half dozen empty beer cans.
