Looking at a Maverick XL and have a friend who is an engineer at Ford. He mentioned X pricing, which I have requested thru a dealer. He hasn't gotten back to me yet but wondering if anyone has actually used this pricing and was it truly cheaper? Bare with me, first of many questions I am sure.

Don't expect it to be very large discount on the Maverick, especially an XL. Like $500.

Since you're already in PA you'd get a bigger discount (about another 4%) going through Chapman Ford.

The prices are not that much cheaper at all. If you get a $750 rebate I would opt for that instead. Sign up for ford.com marketting emails.

the best benefit of x plan is the doc fee is capped at $100. In PA the state law already caps the fee at $118 to $141 if they do the title for you.

You can also save a decent amount if you opt for all the extras. Below is stock pricing with x plan. Your XL is a whopping $152 off. It is important to mention that most dealers are not honoring x plan right now. Verify and confirm with your own dealer. Also Granger is taking orders at 4 percent under invoice if you don’t mind waiting a while.

There are discounts from Ford, not involving the dealer, for Ford stockholders, Farm Bureau and Mustang Club members, first responders and maybe certain military folks. Perhaps you can take advantage of one of those. Also Chapman Ford and Granger Ford are possibly the best deals in the nation.

Stockholder and Mustang Club are just another source for X-plan. But ordering through Chapman (4% below invoice) or Granger ($3k off MSRP) would be more plus can stack with Ford cash rebates like Farm Bureau, First Responder, or the $750 loyalty.

If I have a truck on order, and qualify for xplan pricing but didn't realize it when I ordered is it too late to get it applied? Truck not being built yet, still in stage 0
