I used a heat gun but a hair dryer should work just as well....just go back and forth to slowly and evenly distribute the heat. I removed the quarter panel badges/decals last fall outside in 60-ish degree outdoor temperatures. I removed the tailgate decal in January...but did it in my garage...
Here's a Maverick catch can installation video for both catch cans. The turbo/clean side is an easy install. The YouTube video is from a business that sells catch can kits (they are pricey). The dirty/PCV side is a much more challenging install because it's done by "feel", not visually....bring...
I did the same thing with the stock plate mounting bracket, but had used 3 bolts (from Lowes) evenly spaced to attach it instead (overkill?).....it worked perfectly.

Like you I have a mile of dirt road from my home to pavement....I just get the hose out and return my Tremor Maverick back to Velocity Blue when I get back home....or if I'm laid back patient I'll drive slower than slow for that one mile while enjoying the scenery to keep from kicking up the...
I peeled off my Tremor's quarter panel decals. Reason? I have a F250 that has " 4x4 " decals on it's quarter panels. Thing is the drivers side of the truck is almost always facing south when parked (in sunny Nevada).....the result is the decals " white" background has turned an old looking...
