Why does the recirculated air light keep going out?

Recirculate will also turn itself off if it detects enough moisture in the air to start fogging the windows. My Bronco Sport was the same.

Recirculate is a placebo for folks who want "clean air" in their vehicle.

It also helps to cool the cabin quicker because it is recirculating and cools the cooler air inside the cabin, instead of trying to cool the hot air from outside.

Another thing about recalculating butten. When AC is off Fan also off. When I want to just turn on the recirculating butten without using AC or fan.,Fan going on by itself. Is this normal? I never had FORD car. Until this Maverick. It kinda stupid.

If the fan is off, there shouldn't be any air flowing anyway. No need to recirculate when fan is off.

I don't hear it on the Maverick but on other vehicles in the past pressing the recirculate button could cause the vehicle to close/switch the intake bringing in fresh air.

Cars are not air tight and pretty poorly insulated so even IF recirculate does close the fresh air intake once a vehicle reaches speed air will be making its way into the cabin regardless.

The reason I used recilqulating butten to close the fresh air damper to avoid brings any odor or pollution insid the cabin. Last these years most of the new cars that recilqulating butten insulated over 95%.
But my question is why fan turns ON when the recirculating butten is pressed? I will appreciate you guys if try this on your maverick.
