Why are my DRLs not working?

It is optional to use or not use DRLs in the US. They can be enabled or disabled by the user in your truck's settings. The owner manual discusses this.

Perhaps they were turned off by you or someone else poking around in the settings.

I had them on in the settings. They would not come on at all. They said there was something wrong with the codes in the system, and the lights were not responding, and they had to reprogram it. I also stated in the initial post that I read the manual and made sure the settings were set correctly. Though, I do appreciate everyone insulting my intelligence and assuming that I didn’t try to turn them on in the settings.
