I am feeling extremely blessed this holiday season. My wife and I got this truck because of its practicality to take on road trips. This past Christmas, we took on its first road trip to Crested Butte, Colorado. Not only that, but due to health complications or financial struggles, it was the...
I had them on in the settings. They would not come on at all. They said there was something wrong with the codes in the system, and the lights were not responding, and they had to reprogram it. I also stated in the initial post that I read the manual and made sure the settings were set...
I finally was able to drop my truck off at the dealership to get the DRLs looked at and get a second key fob programmed. They said that there were some codes that needed to be reprogrammed. That is not something that I ever would have thought, but they are working now. I was not charged for the...
I had it for such a short time, but I don't remember ever seeing them turn on. I thought it was strange then, but I only had it for a few days. I guess it's possible I didn't have the settings correct at that point.
Yes. I appreciate the help, but that is why I made the post and stated that I had all the correct settings. My Daytime running lights box is checked, and auto lamps is on.
I have searched everywhere and looked throughout the manual and cannot figure out what the problem is. I have a lariat, and the DRLs do not come on. I have all of the settings correct, but no lights. From everything I've read, you can't access the bulb without completely removing the headlamp...
Finally decided to black out my emblems and AWD badge while I was doing some other home projects the other day. I bought one $1 plastic drop cloth from Walmart and it was so easy to use to block the front grille. There was plenty left over, so I used it for the back as well. Very surprised at...
That sucks! This deer ran out of a ditch late. Somehow missed the oncoming car and hit me. It's head hit the headlight and the body must have wrapped into the door. I didn't stop initially because it was dark and no room on the side of the road. Never saw the deer after it hit me.
Hood, fender, bumper cover, and driver's side door shell were all replaced with OEM parts. Thankfully, there was no mechanical damage. From the looks of it, yes, they painted inside of fender to match and hood painted as well. I tried to look at it very thoroughly.
Total cost was over $13k...
Finally got my Maverick back today. Deer ran into after only having it for a week. Made the first payment on it while I didn’t even have it lol. But it looks good!
P.S. those oil spots on the ground are from an old vehicle, not the truck.
I appreciate everybody's responses. I saw multiple people talk about their experiences with the hybrid and ecoboost engine. I guess I didn't specify that I have the ecoboost with AWD. In the current season the wife and I are in, we probably won't be towing much. Would love to have a camper in...
I read over the manual and it said it's built to run on 87 but performs best on 91 or higher. Since I only had my Maverick for a week before I had the deer accident, I only put fuel in it twice, and I used 93 fuel. I was just curious what other Mav owners were putting in their trucks because...
