Who watches golf? -- The Masters today (Easter)

I hope everyone had a nice Easter.

I love watching the pros play but I rarely do (no network or cable TV). I watched the last several holes of the last round today. I used to golf a little but I don't know the rules the pros play by.

On the 17th or 18th hole, the leader, Rahm, hit a ball into the woods. He then hit a provisional ball. He was 12 under when he teed off into the woods and still 12 under when he parred the hole, I believe playing the provisional ball.

How does that work? Or did he find and play the original ball and I missed it?

Yes they found his first drive and abandoned his provisional shot. Brooks went down hard today. -13 to -8. I like watching Rahm play and Scotty.

Ol Phil at 52 played good. Ended -8 under himself. So not bad for him either. I think they said that was his lowest ever there.

I don't watch golf but live just across the river from there. Town gets crazy packed for one week. And did you catch the 3 trees that fell on Thursday evening during play? They were all cut up and gone and ground filled in over night.

Wish it was easy to get that chance. Tickets for the “non-connected” are distributed via a lottery system. I have tried the ticket lottery every year for at least the last 10 years and making bogey on that hole every year
