Who has a project vehicle that takes up garage space?

Just a fun off topic thread. Who has a project vehicle that will be sitting next to the Maverick I. The garage? Mine is a 95 mustang v6 shell that sat in a field since 2012. So far I've done a 5.0 swap (fully built with pro comp heads, b303 can, bored .60 over, port matched typhoon intake, bbk headers), 2002 dash swap, full suspension swap, 03 cobra irs swap welded in, full custom exhaust, saleen wheels and ground effects.

Currently wrapping up primer, wiring, and fuel issues when it gets warm outside

Not a project but my 18’ Mustang GT and 19’ HD Road Glide and John Deere riding lawn mower take up space in the garage so no room for the Maverick.

My main project sits because one of the vendors stole major components and ran with the cash. It is a rare enough car that getting parts for it is incredibly difficult. Although, they are a little more plentiful in Australia, of all places. It will be done someday...

My son's sits because, like my main project, it is a damn unicorn that requires special parts from over the rainbow. A short build run car that was sold only in the N.A. market. No one knows what it is when I tell them.

Sold the other project before the pandemic.

I had a '69 Camaro but sold it right before the pandemic. I did not enjoy the car in the slightest. Although, I do miss being able to walk into a parts store and grab whatever off the shelf.

Mine will be parked next to my other Ford in the garage. I would say it's no longer a project as of last October when I finished it, but looks like the C4 Transmission needs rebuilt now.

Well I got a 3 bay work shop, My 96 Bronco is sitting in the corner with a mysterious smoking engine. I got a 64 Ford 4000 front loader with its diesel half disassembled. But the real project happening right now is the car that will get my wife and I through the Maverick wait. Its a 1980 AMC Eagle, bought it in Tucson for $600, shipped it over here, found out I could shine a flashlight from one side of the motor to the other. So I yanked the 10 year fresh 258-6 out of my CJ-7, threw some paint on it and freshened everything else in the engine bay. Today I am down to plugging the emmisions ports in the exhaust manifold then filling it up with coolant and its ready to fire. We also have a entire donor car for bits and pieces.and a brand new orange carpet. My wife plans on making custom wooden door panels for the inside. We will be raptor lining it hopefully within a month. Going with a orange base coat and eventually red rockers, and a yellow hockey stick stripe. It will be our fun daily driver. If our current DD 93 V8 ZJ ever croakes we with work on adding its 4spd overdrive, low range t-case, and 318 Magnum(rebuilt for performance ofcourse) to the Eagle.

Damn I'm kind of regretting this thread now as everyone's projects make mine look lame lol.

Love the v6 route! I had a 1995 3.8 v6 mustang when I lived in florida that has a custom mac exhaust on it with something close to an x-pipe and it sounded way meaner than it was. I beat that car to death for almost 5 years and it had a busted odometer when I got it. Cracked both heads and did a split port conversion on the original engine and it only survived 3 more months before I lost a bearing. Miss that car. here's a picture of it
