My dealer said I was a 19 priority code and that was set and can only be changed by Ford.I've seen members post code 2 upon ordering. What is the real story please.

Thank you for that information, wish us all priority 2 soon! The dealer sets priority code. The codes are 19 thru 10 for retail orders. 10 being highest priority. Ford sets priority 2 for vehicles being considered for production schedule.
Some dealers set all to 19, some to all 10, others in calendar order, monthly order, whatever sequence the particular dealer chooses.
Big-T is correct. I was a priority 2, from 7/13/2021 until today, when I received my scheduled for production email (week of 2/28). Priority only matters within a specific dealer, for orders that don't have production restraints.Thank you for that information, wish us all priority 2 soon!
Do you have any wool? If so, your dealer is pulling it over your eyes! The DEALER sets the priority code. Most of the time, when you place an order with your dealer and the dealer Don't Enter a priority code, then the system will set it at 80. Your dealer can go into the ordering system an set the priority code, it needs to be between 10-19 for your order to be pulled for production. I had my priority code updated from 19 to 10 and my order was pulled the next day for production. My dealer said I was a 19 priority code and that was set and can only be changed by Ford.I've seen members post code 2 upon ordering. What is the real story please.
Stock orders default to 80. Retail orders default to 19.Do you have any wool? If so, your dealer is pulling it over your eyes! The DEALER sets the priority code. Correct - But, if your dealer is not paying attention, they can enter an order as Stock, when it is a Retail order. This site is Full of Members who placed an order and had a priority code of 80-stock, when it was a retail order and then posted "why hasn't my order been selected for production". It's up to the person placing the order to Make Sure they have a Retail Order with a priority code of 10-19.Stock orders default to 80. Retail orders default to 19.
That does seem to be the more important factor.
My original order was a XLT luxury package 2T with a Priority 10 code. After I removed the luxury package my code was changed by the dealer to 17, and I received a build date yesterday.10-19 really doesn't matter.
