If you are a FORD stockholder, attend the on-line stockholders meeting on May 11 and start asking questions on what is going on and what the plan is for the future.
The reality is that there is serious demand for a small, efficient pickup, regardless of the price point. There are lots of people who have older homes with small garages that can't fit a Ranger or F-150. That doesn't mean they don't want a truck and aren't willing to pay for all the bells and whistles you can get on a top of the line F-150.
Hopefully, the lack of investment in expanding Maverick Hybrid production is a sign that FORD's long term goal is a plug in hybrid or BEV version of the Maverick. If that's the case, I hope they are planning to build 500K a year, as the demand will be pretty serious.
