I've been trying to read different forum posts on wheel offsets since I plan on buying a set of wheels for winter use on my 2024 Maverick Hybrid. It currently has the stock 18" rims running 225/60 R18 Michelin Primacy A/S tires. Where I live we have steep hills leading into our neighborhood so just having snow tires just helps to provide a little better traction. I'm looking to get the Blizzak DM-V2 tires (same size as stock). But looking at aftermarket rims (18x8) I'm seeing basically the choices of offsets being either +35 or +45. I've read that our stock rims is something like +37 or +38 and 7".
So, is there any pro/cons as to which ones I should or shouldn't get for my stock rims?
