Bought a Lariat last month and noticed the last line on the window sticker was:
CONN PKG:1 TIME 7YR $745. Forgot to ask the salesman. Thanks in advance.

Unlike the original OP who got stuck with it, can a new customer have the "optional 7year $745" deleted from the sale of the car before making the purchase? The way I see it is this: Every Maverick comes with the "hardware" for this service built into the car. Then we all get the first year free as part of buying the car. Then if we were to want to continue using this service, we would subscribe to the service at an annual price. No different than Sirius/XM services in my opinion.

So as I start looking over inventory out there, I've seen a few builds that have this "overpriced" factory option that I do not want and will not accept as part of the vehicle. One dealer already told me that they can NOT delete a factory optioned item. I call BS on that one. Software can be added & removed at any time. No physical option to deal with. Any truth to what I wrote?

Since my original post, I’ve learned how to use and in my opinion, it was worth it.
