What'd you put in dash Cubby Hole (space next display screen)?

Unless you have a specific preference, why would you go thru the trouble when you can just plug your phone into the supplied USB input and utilize Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to stream your phones' navigation onto the infotainment screen?

Only thing I can think of is those ride sharing apps like Uber or Lyft which apparently aren’t allowed to integrate into ACP and AA. I don’t really know why.

Woah- there is still a working IPod in North America? That was my first thought actually. “This would have been a great spot for an iPod classic”…and then I remembered it stopped working years ago.

What is this space designed for?

It probably was for a bigger display and do to cost and part availability used a smaller screen but have the space to grow into someday. The display driver chip is one of the chips short supply in the industry.

Just thought of another use for the "Dash Cubby" - I'm going to store All My COVID-19 mask in this thing! Currently, I use the gear shifter to wrap my mask around, but since the Maverick has a Rotary Gear Shift Dial - the mask won't stay attached, so this seems like a good place to cram the mask in.

Is anyone else gonna miss their gear shifter? I know I will! My hand rests on it while I’m driving. Sorry nervous nellies, I’m not a 10&2 driver.
