I just found this on the floor mat on the driver's side... Any clue what this is and/or where it goes? I added a quarter as a reference for the size.

This is such a weird little rubber rectangle ... looks like it might be a part to reduce rubbing? the squares on one side look like they might pop into something... I don't see anything right off though.

A Wild Ass Guess (WAG) would be: This is the bumper that belongs at the bottom of your steering column (bump stop). Raise your steering column and look in the lower gap to see if there is a spot for this bumper.

Or for that matter, lower the column and look if it belongs at the top instead????
Another thought.. Look behind your gas pedal; my Honda has a bump stop there...

The arrow points at the control for the sliding window in the rear windshield. Not sure what the second picture is... After thought ... Maybe you were trying to say the tab is underneath the control... If so . I don't know.
