I'm old enough to remember when they used to put words next to the switches and knobs to describe their function. Words like "headlights" and "wipers". Now, they use sometimes obscure symbols that don't look anything like the message they're meant to convey.

Yes it's amazing that a headlight picture in USA needs to be different than a headlight picture in a different country. Etc. etc. but pictures beats different language versions of maverick. " Today's special = clearance on Korean mavericks".
