I have a 2025 Maverick Lariat on order.

I am presuming it comes with Sync 4 (not 4a).

There a three (3) navigation types mentioned.

One is Smartphone Navigation which is 100% clear and understood.

The other two are Connected Navigation (I get a 90-day trial) and
Connected Built-In Navigation (I get 3 years of service).

What is the difference between those two?

Not sure. But the problem with included nav (as always) is map updates, which can be a pain. With Waze, GoogleMaps and apple maps, you'll have the most recent maps (especially with the first two).

2. Likely an over the air service that has constantly updated maps. It might include things like live traffic information, and other such things.
3. Just a basic GPS system, might have live data on merchants and gas stations in areas along the route that allows you to select those locations without knowing the address.

If you use your phone for navigation through Carplay or Android Auto, there is no need for these paid services.
