Everyone will change their tune when they get their scheduled dates in the next week or two. Hybrid production will continue to increase with every week now.
Don’t say anything you will regret. Ford has feelings too. 😉
That might be my standard thought to do. But maybe I will pull A FORD and just do the whatever plan

we’re getting finessed with the remains factory parts from the to be Discontinued Ford Ecosport, ford fusions and ford focus unused materials, turned into a marketing campaign called 40 MPG and 1 liter bottles with at least 3k dealer markups.

Partially true and we’ve known this for a while. But you also have that to thank for the reliability, 20ish starting price, and the fact that Ford was able to devote much more resources into designing the flex bed system, getting payload to 1500 pounds which is spectacular, up to 4k towing etc. You’re not buying this truck for the latest tech or features, even though emergency braking, auto high beams are standard and lane keep is only $500 bucks on all trims. Also keep in mind the electric motor IS a brand new design from Ford for the first time.

Then Ford went on to pull my favorite move of all which is totally admit defeat on infotainment and give me the CarPlay and standard screen I’ve always wanted.

You're new here aren't you? You know how I know? Because you are making comments with no truth to them. Hybrids are being built can't be released yet but should be receiving OKTB very soon, next week is likely. A lot of Hybrids have been scheduled for November builds, mine being one of them. As for turn around . There have been people ordering and getting scheduled almost immediately. This week many people have reported receiving their trucks earlier than expected. It's looking like it will not be unreasonable to expect less than 4 weeks from build to delivery. There is so much useful information on this site thanks to all these helpful members.
As for your individual order taking a year. That will have more to do with were you ordered from, how many orders are in front of you, how many allocations your dealer receives monthly, what add ons you put on your build. Lastly, you state you are patient but your post was in all CAPS and it is obvious you read nothing here before posting. Information is knowledge and there is plenty of that on this site. Read, learn then ask questions!

Ford is technically still on schedule with fall availability. The problem is it’s going to be like 90% ecoboosts driving around for the next couple of months. They had to of known that hybrid production would be slower to ramp up back when it was announced in June.

I just wish they would have been more clear that hybrid would be more of a winter/early 2022 availability. That would have relieved all of the hybrid production angst if expectations would have been more realistic up front.

I’m now picking up a dealer stock eco boost instead of my June ordered yet to be scheduled hybrid. I really wish I could hold out for the hybrid, but unfortunately my current car needs some work that would not see a return on trading in.
