What does the production date mean?

So when you receive a production date, thats not the date your car will be made, right? Is it just the start date of the 4 to 6 weeks until its built?

The production date is the Monday of the week your Maverick is scheduled to be built. It might be built on Monday or Friday or any day in-between of that particular week. Ford does not schedule production by day, they schedule by week.

Production date means it will be built that week. Then you can start the 6 - 8 week (estimated) countdown until it's at your dealer.
