Huun, I noticed you were able to track your Maverick by rail carrier, how were you able to do that.
You can check out this thread for details on tracking rail shippments:

My Maverick Hybrid has Shipped - with Inroute Details

You will need the railcar number for tracking so call your dealer and ask for a snapshot of the "Vehicle Visibility" report showing the Railcar number. If they won't do that ask if they can just read the railcar number to you.

Once it says "In Transit" in the Primary Field and "Shipped Rail" in the Secondary Field it will have the Railcar number.

When talking to your dealer ask them to View Full History and scroll down if necessary to see these lines.

Initially I used the UP, CSX or NS phone number for tracing:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Union Pacific

1. Call UP at 1-800-877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly.
4. Listen for your update

The automated UP system is terrible in pronouncing names. It is even worse that some GPS's.

I had previous updates but with names pronounced like "Texicding" (Pecos Siding), "Brakesprail" or "Briggspayne" (Big Spring). Needless to say I was unable to find any city in Texas with names close to those. EDIT: I found the names later and updated them here in the ().

Even todays update said something like "Qualtoma" which I interpreted as Coahoma as that is on a UP line from Sierra Blanca TX.

The automated UP system repeats the rail car number letter by letter I wish it would do the same for the locations.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CSX

1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Norfolk Southern

Question: I'm on railcar TTGX975606

800-635-5768

When prompted for selection: Press 2
again when prompted for selection: Press 2

Enter your rail car id as:

When prompted for Alpha entry

Press 8849#

then when prompted for number entry

Press 975606#

Then when prompted: Press 1

The response I got was intermediate delivery at Roseville CA @6:15 AM on Dec 5th

Using UP I got this response:

Arrived Roseville CA on Dec 5th at 6:15 AM

Delivery to "Industry" on Dec 9th at 11:59 PM

Please note that on Union Pacific Trace that destination "Industry" is used to describe a final arrival point that is on a private siding or rail spur (or possible transfer to another rail carrier). It's short for Industry rail.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later I joined to AccessNS website where I could get detailed access:

In this post: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...build-tracking-links.2882/page-13#post-126795

@jalbano2 had registered on Norfolk Southern's website for AccessNS.

I also did the registration. It was complicated and required guesswork by me but I finally figured it out. The snapshots are from the AccessNS website for my railcar.

It is interesting in that the railcar tracking starts years ago as it gets used over and over again picking up cars/trucks and delivering them.

Yeah, the window sticker updates weekly. At least mine has updated every Wednesday since December 15th, when my build was first sent to the plant and my window sticker appeared the 16th. It has not seemed to be related to ANYTHING else happening, based on the Vehicle Visibility Report. At least, this was the case until this past week when it did not update at all. Then it updated on Monday the 31st.

And, d'y'know what happens when something is different? We hope it MEANS something...like maybe this is the day they will finally release our Maverick to be shipped. I mean it's just been sitting there for two weeks, already "produced" and having gone to the external Body Shop and back (spray-in bedliner) while we still have no "Built" email.

We read something into it all, like reading tea leaves...because we have so little to actually go on. Ha! But it has to ship sometime, eh? Maybe our sweet hybrid, ordered 6/12, will arrive by March?

I have heard that the last time the Window Sticker updates is a week or so after you sign the final papers. All the best to all of you. 🍀
