What does "All Electric" on the dash mean?

I apologize if the answer is in this forum, in the manual or online anywhere but I can't find it. Believe me I've looked. Driving me nuts not knowing!!!

Comes on right after startup then goes away a minute or two later, then you can see average MPG again. It is even there when the engine is running sometimes so clearly not "All Electric" at that time.

Anybody know? I would love a detailed explanation.

It means the electric motor is providing all the power to the wheels and the gas motor has gone idle/off.

It just means the engine hasn't run yet - and if it has, it takes 30 sec or whatever the delay is for the avg mpg to update - that is when you'll see it list your trip average again.

The gasoline engine is not running. Only the electric motor is propelling the truck. We are talking 1,000 miles per gallon right now.

It means that the ICE has not yet started during the current trip. Not really all that useful, especially since it takes quite a while to go away after the engine is clearly running.
