What Are You Doing to Your Maverick This Spring/Summer?

plasti dipped my steelies
3D printed hub covers
soft tonneau cover
3d printed phone holder for the cubbie with hidden USB plugs hard wired to the fuse panel below, one for the phone, one for the dash cam.
2x12 bed divieder in the back.
installed both bed storage cubbies (used my ford pass points)
Installed actuator in the tailgate to unlock and lock the tailgate with the fob
Still to finish
installing SLA battery and charger in drivers side cubby with 12 volt plug and USB Q3 power to power any of my devices.
Installing bed lighting with wireless switch (also hooked to the battery)

I have everything built, I just need to go out and install. Need to get out there before the 10th because we are leaving for a camping trip and I want to be able to light up the bed at night and charge the power banks during the day.

I have to say, I love the DIY built in to these little inexpensive pickups. My wife said it is like a 14 year old girls locker with all the crap I am putting in it. Oh yeah, Speaking of stickers. I need to order some vinyl to make my letters for the tailgate.

My coworker has an XL Maverick and before I got mine, he was my Guinea pig to test my ideas. Now I do something to mine and he comes over a week later so I can install it on his. Lots of fun

Thinking maybe to give it a good cleaning, inside & out.

Put up window stickers.
Touchup paint, seal off gaps in undercarriage.
Clean the vehicle, print off some FITS mounts to organize things in the back.
Put something fun in the infotainment storage cubby--probably by 3d printing a mount of some sort.
Bed lighting underneath the tonneau, ideally linked to the ordinary bed light switch.
Clean up the GPS mount system and cigarette lighter power supply so the cable isn't visible.

If I can figure out a way to get it cheap: install a trailer hitch.

Picking up a 2024 EcoBoost Lariat Atlas Blue Maverick this week. Plan on buying and installing the following: Tuxedo Sentry CT roll-up tonneau cover, bed mat, husky liners floor mats, DD fog lights and tailgate letters (leaning towards orange).

Inside rearview mirror replacement is also planned.

Will probably get some more stuff after I live with awhile.

I have spent the last year on this site reading recommendations on the above products and want to thank the contributors for assisting me in making educated purchasing decisions.

Will post on the truck and installation of aftermarket products.

I am going to start doing my own oil changes and don't want to be removing 7,687 bolts. Ok, slight exaggeration there. This unit looks like would be a time saver. Considering custom wheels from Foose that resemble the Crager SS. Mav truck lover (Dave) has those and they are VERY nice.

Gee Wis, we got to spend four hours in Chipola Ford when the battery died in the Florida Caverns campground. They actually had a battery in stock but they couldn't get the old battery to fail, so we sat in their service bay with the camper on the back of the Maverick. I'm getting very tired of this lemon.
