That looks awesome, congratulations.

I'm hoping Ford doesn't force me to go another route. I need to have something by mid-summer at the latest. If I can't get one of my Maverick orders by then I'm going to go a completely different way and get a manual transmission car (if I can find one).

Get a manual Tacoma. Will hold value better than a maverick.

Congrats to OP. Nice vehicle. I was looking at Santa Cruz a couple months ago and passed because of ADM. It’s interesting to me that just about all of those adm are over on that line now. Maybe the market has been saturated by those willing to pay over sticker and so prices are coming down. Full size truck values in this market are surely worth it if you have use for one. 👍🏻

I'm glad you said a manual. The engine/trans pairing in the Tacoma is just no good. In fact, I had my 2016 Tacoma bought back through my states lemon law.

Changed my mind and bought this. Love the 3.0 Duramax. 25 mpg combined on my first tank.

Surprised you went from compact Maverick to Full Size Silverado, not a Mid-Size Colorado or Ranger. But nice truck & milage, I had an older Silverado extended cab about 12 years ago.

Thats a steep price. I would've gone the Ranger route myself. The powertrain in those are sweet.
