When the order lines opened for those few days in Sep. I managed to get a place in line and was told the wait would four to six months. I was okay with that. I once was on a list for a PT Cruiser for a year. Yesterday, Nov 22, 2022 I got a call from the dealer and was told that a customer didn't want to wait any longer, so there was a 2022 XLT available on the lot. Would I be interested? Uh, honey where are the car keys? We gotta' go, NOW! Even though I had ordered a blue 2023 with a hybrid engine, the one available was a black 2022 EB. It didn't have all the options I had asked for, but the dealer was able to add them to the deal and we ended up within $100 of my original order. They will be added as they become available and they are already paid for. So, here I am with a black 2022 XLT sitting in the driveway and now I get to learn about all the things the truck will or will not do. Happy? Hell yeah, I'm happy.
