Anyone else having their phone calls distorted?

I've got a Pixel 6, and since I got my Mav a couple of months back most of my calls sound distorted on my end. Not full of static, but like it's run through a digital distorter. I can barely understand what the other caller is saying, but they hear me clearly on their end. It's pretty annoying since I'd much rather use hands-free calling instead of picking up my phone while driving. Has anyone else had this problem?

Try turning off your phone, and then turning it on. Also take it back to the store where bought it and explain your problem.

No issues with my Pixel 6 Pro. You might try unpair/forget the Maverick in Bluetooth settings then repair. Are you on the latest software update?

I've probably powered off the phone 10 times since I got the truck. And it's from Google, so there's no physical store. I've had the phone longer than I've had the truck; I've had it paired with probably 6 diff vehicles, and the Mav is the only one I've had a problem with, so it seems unique to this truck. That's why I'm asking if anyone else has had this same problem.

I've unpaired, paired, re-unpaired, repaired, despaired, all to the same results. On the latest software update. Shouldn't be any diff with my P6 and your P6P. Strange.

My phone does the exact same thing with an iphone. Doesn't do it when plugged into carplay, only bluetooth. Did you ever find a fix? The calls are distorted bad... very annoying.

I found that if I switch it to handset and then back to hands-free, it seems to fix the problem. But only for that phone call.

Gotcha... ok thanks. So do you think its our phones or are we just lucky with faulty head units?

I also have the same issue using an LG phone or my wide's iPhone. It's never happened with either phone in multiple other vehicles, so clearly the issue is sync related and not with the phones.

Here with the same issue with a Motorola. Everything works except calls. The first Bluetooth call I receive is always distorted, hang up and call again then is fine. My son knows to call me twice now when driving.
I guess we learned to live with it until someone finds a solution

I have had solid performance with my phone and the Maverick. As a matter of fact, folks have said I sound clearer from the truck's hands free than when I speak into the phone.

So, when my phone is plugged in for Apple Car Play and I receive a call and answer it, we can't hear each other. I have to hang up and call the person back and then it works fine. WTF is up with that?

I had this same issue about 2weeks ago for the whole day. I reset sync to factory that night and it's been working perfectly.
