Having issues when i make calls, everyone says that i sound far away on the other end with alot of static... is anyone experiencing the same issue?

I have not experienced the same issue of having trouble hearing you. Of course, I have not talked to you that I am aware. Give me your phone number and I will call you and see if I experience the same issue!!

The built in mic is absolutely horrendous. I need one that works better to do business while I'm driving, so I'm thinking about buying one from Amazon and adapting it. Should be straightforward to wire up, except I've seen posts from others showing that there's hardly any slack in the wiring & connector so that's a minor nuisance.

I am not expecting Ford to do anything meaningful about the trucks currently on the road but I sure hope they address this mic in future model-years.

I am not sure how Maverick would enter into the conversation but some of the 1-900 services would probably oblige!! Of course we have all heard the farmer's daughter/salesman jokes and are extremely depressed because we non-salesmen have not experienced such wonderous events!!
