New to the group, and have a Maverick on order (and hopefully soon to be built/delivered). Order placed 7/17/23 when the order banks opened at my local dealership. Next update is schedule to build week of 11/13/2023. Middle of that week it gets bumped all the way to the week of 12/18/2023 (this coming week), and according to my salesman he claims it said scheduled build date for 12/21 on his end (though I had no such news from Ford).

But last night I checked the Ford tracker site (as I do everyday) and now says scheduled to the week of 1/1/24 (though I haven’t gotten an official email/txt update from Ford yet). I followed many suggestions to keep my build simple to better the odds of a sooner build date. My build is lariat trim, the new azure grey color, with the black appearance package with the flr liners without carpeted mats (which I was told shouldn’t hinder my build chances). Now since it technically isn’t the week of 12/18 yet, I’m hoping the potential push to the week of 1/1/24 is a preliminary error and I will see a change to “in production” sometime this week.
But if not, anybody have any idea why mine build keeps getting pushed?
(sorry for the length of this post, tho any insight is appreciated)

There's currently some backlog in production right now. I have a 11/13 build week truck that hasn't completed build yet, and several others since that time are in the same boat. They're technically "done" if you talk to Ford chat but they're not ready to be released to shipping for some reason. I believe your date keeps getting pushed back until that backlog gets cleared.

The good news is that several other members here with 11/13 weeks have started shipping so hopefully they've worked out whatever issues they had. Your date may move up depending on if they get the builds back on track or not.

Only thing I can think of on this is they are all lariat trim and the backlog is the bed liner Asked my dealer yes and it shows mine as being back from body shop waiting shipping.

Good to know, so hopefully sooner than later. I just want my truck at this point and to get rid of my car. Thanks for the info!
