My Hybrid Build Date Pushed Back One Week

I just received an email from Ford this evening that my XL hybrid build has been changed from October 4th to October 11th. It’s a Velocity Blue, with no bed liner, no mud flaps, etc. The order was placed on June 16th.

A one-week delay isn’t too bad, so I’m not upset. Hopefully this will be the only delay.

Same here. I got the email a few hours ago. Hybrid XL Velocity Blue, pushed back a week from 10/11 to 10/18.

Mine too! Velocity Blue XL hybrid, only options are tow hitch and full-sized spare. Order placed June 15th, was scheduled for week of 10/4, now 10/11.

Maybe there is a container ship stuck in the Suez Canal with like a million cans of Velocity Blue paint?

It's because you are ecoboost. It's apparent that some hybrids are moving down a week and ecoboost up a week.

I honestly wish it was the other way around. My son ordered a hybrid the same day as I ordered my 2.0 and he still doesn't have a build date. He is the one really needing a new vehicle. He is going to want to drive mine!!!

Mine has also been delayed a week. Same dates, 10/4 to 10/11. Ordered 6/18. XLT hybrid 300a package with no extras. One delay is ok. There better not be anymore.

So yeah, sounds like Ford doesn't want to be upfront on the delay. Though I do wish the gentle teasing about the ones who have build dates would be less frequent, I want to know Hybriders have build dates more than I want to keep seeing jokes about it
