Dealers are pretty much useless, been without a car or loaner for 25 days from water leaks so far. while it just sits in their back lot.

I've had an open case since November 29th after messaging you. No help.

No sunroof. Dealer said it was all set. Mentioned silicone in some areas, bla bla bla. Made them keep it through this last round of rain storms we just had. They called and said it was good after the rain. I guess they're confident they fixed it since they're also putting a new carpet in it as well. Me? Not so much. Time will tell I guess.

I would just be glad they will put new carpet in, my local dealer is awful and basically ignores me when I ask.

Dealer gave me a loaded Ford edge as a loaner. Real nice. Might have to trade maverick in on one.

I had the same issue with my right rear door. Random heavy rains would puddle water in the rectangular lower cubby but never reached the carpet fortunately. I pulled the door panel off and the water sheild held on by butyl tape/sealant was not secured properly from the factory in several areas letting water in. I removed the sheild with a heat gun and reapplied sealng around the opening. Have not had a leak since.

Thank you. I provided similar info to them the previous visits for the water leak. Maybe this time they took notice.

Picked mav up a couple days ago. They seemed to think it was the plastic membrane in the door not being sealed properly. Mind you I gave them printed info taken directly from this site the previous 2 times I took it in for a water issue. Anyway they were confident enough they fixed it to replace the entire carpet in it. So I guess we'll see.
