Ford Maverick Was This Installed Correctly? ED24264F-5E81-4F13-8C43-00171B17CD79

I've noticed there's an excess on the rubber strip towards the window and there's less towards the tailgate causing a gap. I tried pulling it but it won't budge. Seems to be stuck with a glue.

I feel like it will get wet when rain comes in.

Should I attempt it or bring it back? They might have to reglue it. I don't think this was installed at dealership

I haven't heard of them being glued down to the truck. Should be some hardware underneath attached to the bedrails that can be loosened to allow adjustment .

They are glued, and supposed to be. They overhang the front by design and are flush by design in the rear. Your tonneau cover is assembled correctly. Do not attempt to change it.

looks like water would flood in at the tailgate if I'm seeing that correctly

Got mine installed last week.
That's how mine looks like exactly! The overhangs kinda looks like a bad job and out of place but the whole cover seems to be on the right place and have no more room to adjust

Tim Bartz @fordvideoguy talked about the tailgate gap in one of his videos, it seems to be normal on some covers. Probably more on the flush mounted ones for tailgate clearance, not sure.

Thanks. I did try to see if I could move in about half an inch to the rear but the rubber won't budge. It would have to be the whole assembly which is already pretty close to the tailgate.

I'll leave it alone for now and see if water would get in.
