So, I get the following text today. Was this someone’s order that got screwed or is it a dealer order they are trying to make some money on? I’m not going over MSRP

You really shouldn't have to pay over MSRP crazy that some dealers are trying to sell a Maverick for nearly $50,000 you could buy a F-150 lightning 🤣

Well to be fair, they probably have the F-150's marked up to 100k.

Who knows, but will probably sell quick. I declined one of the two Mavs I ordered and it only took 2 days for it to disappear from the dealer's website (with a markup I'm sure). Dealers will keep selling at a markup as long as people keep buying them with a markup.

People are paying above MSRP for the Maverick because they're impatient and/or need a truck now. Supply and demand. If you can't wait your turn in line like so many of us, you have to pay a premium. Go ahead and order that lightning now for $50k. It'll be many many many months before you see it

Since you cannot order a Maverick right now and the 2023 Maverick pricing has not been released, Is the better deal a $2500 to $5000 markup and instant satisfaction or wait several weeks and find out whether or not that the price increase is in the range of the markup and Then wait a year for your new ride? Damn I just broke my crystal ball.

The dealers are the northwest suburbs of Detroit have over 100 F-150’s of every variety sitting on the lot. They would be hard pressed to over charge for one.
