Yes I've seen that on previous purchases. Will just need to doublecheck that on each purchase.
I’ve had good luck with Precision LED bulbs in a different vehicle, only did the interior bulbs and license plate ones though. “Plug and play” CANBUS bulbs and they even sent the correct bulb free of charge after one was the wrong model. Was able to use the incorrect one for my old car too. I know they do headlight bulbs not sure about brake or cargo ones.

Even Amazon is pretty bad now.
They are actively looking to bad people for returning something crazy small like 5% of their orders if I remember correctly from a reddit post that someone leaked.
Online shopping in a nutshell is a disaster. Half of it's cheaper crap than even wal-mart or any dollar store would carry and trying to order some things to size/scale is next to impossible with random QC not having any standards.
But yea, ETSY is one of the worst as far as that stuff goes. You will have to wait a month or more before filing a claim and I've even had to go straight through paypal before too - which was another month. I'll never order anything from that site again over such a huge hassle for such a small item.
On topic:
I have seen quite a few reports of LASFIT's failing on here. Hopefully mine do not, but I got the whole set for around $40 thanks to MTC's marketplace so if they do, then I'll go with the more reliable Sylvania's.
At least nobody on these forums is simping for overpriced bulbs like Diode Dynamics. Toyota forums you'd think people were being paid to advertise for them.

I also installed the Alla bulbs in my reverse and front blinker locations. Got them for $24.99 a pair on Amazon. The lights look great, but I do have fast turn signals now, although the actual flash rate on the bulbs doesn’t match the sound inside the truck, and bulbs actually flash slower than the speed of the turn signal sound. My wife hates the “nervous blinker” sound so I have some work to do still, haha

Over time? Heat.
One cause to the, well - should be, shorter lifespan. Of course, LED bulbs use boards and if the board isn't created very well then the risk is the same. Heat and lifespan.
If your thinking about ordering LED bulbs Diode Dynamics just started their black Friday sales. 20-35% off. I have no affiliation with them but did place an order for some bulbs I've been wanting for the new Mav.
Just wanted to report back on my installation of the Diode Dynamics led bulbs on my 24 Lariat Hybrid Mav.
See attached for what was ordered. Got a nice 20% discount over black Friday. The 6 rear tail light bulbs and front turn signals needed to have the locking tabs shaved off. The Dremel tool made that very easy. The rest of the bulbs were plug and play. I don't notice any hyperflashing on the exterior but the interior turn signal indicator is going at twice it's normal speed and sound. So may need to add the resistors. Sent Diode Dynamics a note to ask about this. Other than that very happy with the new bulbs. Came with a 3 year warranty and no questions asked return policy if not happy with them. Hope this helps others when looking at LED bulb replacements. Only con is price.

Just a quick update on the diode dynamic bulb install. Had some time tonight so installed one resistor on each tail light and one on each front turn signal. The rapid blinking of the interior turn signal is now normal. Never did have any exterior hyperflashing. Just tapped into the red and black wires off each taillight. The most difficult part was pushing back the electrical tape Ford puts on the wires. Then just retaped everything.

I considered these, but the idea of using quick-taps on wires - especially exterior - just makes me shudder. If they had these resistors available with factory style plugs on them that you could just plug them inline, I would go for it. And I think as a "high-end" company, they could pull it off. Doesn't seem like it would be difficult at all to do.
Instead, I'm going to go with Lasfit. I corresponded back and forth with them and they replied quickly and answered thoroughly and actually impressed me. I bought a combo pack during their black friday sale and they allowed me to upgrade the front turn signals (that seem to be the ones giving some people problems) to their new T3(?) design for about $8. Ended up being right around $180+tax shipped. Still seems like way too much, but I really want the LEDs and I'm willing to give it a shot.
I would not sweat the wire taps. They are very secure and easy to install. Just wrap with tape to insulate. I used to work in the aircraft industry. Even those pin plugs had their issues.
So, for the 3156/3157 Diode bulbs for the top rear taillight top location, one-way polarity seems to keep the bulb steady and the other polarity allows it to flash. I didn't play around with the bottom bulb location yet as I wanted to see if these work work in the first place....Using the Dremel sander at the 5 setting was the perfect speed and control to sand the locking 'tabs' off the bulb base allowing it to fully seat - by the way.
