There's a couple damaged ones at the dealer next to my work where my order is waiting. They are in line for the body shop. I definitely see now the areas I saw on a video of a guy spraying some rust proofing/cavity wax that seem to collect stuff, especially around the rear wheel well areas with the liner out. I'll be addressing that soon after taking delivery of mine.

As for the Alto Blue one looks like a perfect time to upgrade the intercooler!

Areas like that shouldnt be sealed and rigid. Trust me.. the body are dipped before assembly. That is way better than it being completely seam sealed, welded or panel bonded. Granted yeah different areas will have different sorts of corrosion but it’s good for it be able to breath rather than actually collected water until it pops. I restore rust buckets daily.

The seams on my bronco frame have a TON of air bubbles in them that rust and flake paint away. Been a labor of love to keep up with them.

However - the model 3 (like the bronco and maverick) has unpainted inner fender wells and careless seams and welds that would drive me crazy if I were doing it myself but it's a robot putting it down as quickly as possible.

It's a cost cutting manufacturing decision across the industry. Shouldn't impact the usability or dependability of your vehicle.

Sure. I wasn't seriously suggesting that it's ketchup or that it should look different... Just making a joke... If it were my truck I'd say it looks like mayonnaise. 🤣
